Google launched their Google Analytics 4 package in 2021, bringing their attention to Consent, Data Protection and Privacy.
There have been some changes to how Google Analytics is used which will need to be taken into account when making decisions about your website analytics going forward.
The new property offers a number of advantages over standard Google Analytics properties, including event-based data instead of session-based tracking, privacy controls such as cookieless measurement, and predictive capabilities that offer guidance without complex models.
After July 1, 2023 you'll be able to see your Universal Analytics information for a limited period of time. However, new data will only flow into GA4 properties after that date.
